I am a full-time student at
Louisiana State University in Shreveport enrolled in Elementary Education
undergraduate courses.
http://www.lsus.edu I was accepted into TEPAR, a Teacher Education Program,
in 2002. I have attended two years of courses in General Studies at Bossier
Parish Community College in Bossier City, LA.

academically through education. During the educational courses, I have spent
many hours within classrooms of varying levels, working with children, and
teaching small lessons.

Currently, I am employed with the Caddo Parish School Board to sub for teachers on the days that I am not in classes at LSU-S. I have assisted our community school as a proctor during the ITBS and LEAP testing. I have two daughters at home and they keep me plenty busy with their social lives. My schedule consists of being a full-time student, domestic engineer, and one-parent household during the week. I assist teachers on the field trips my girls' classes go on, and other things.

The Continental Divide taken in COI have five children, ages 30 to 5 years; with the youngest two at home. My husband is a Professional Independent Truck Driver and travels across the country. My birthplace is Vivian, LA, and I have lived in Northwest LA all my life. I enjoy reading, sewing, crafts, baking, and spending time with my family, my children, and my grandchildren. My favorite food is tacos. My favorite thing to do is dance, because I really enjoy music. I like being able to travel with my husband, but that doesn't happen too often. We really enjoy camping and fishing as a family.
Kappa Delta Pi is an International Honor Society in Education. Having a membership keeps the professional educator abreast of the principles, practices, and numerous ways to instruct children in their learning. http://www.kdp.org
My favorite books are historical fiction and suspense. My favorite movies are Last of the Mohicans and Man in the Iron Mask. I enjoy baking desserts and trying new recipes. I have sewn clothes for my girls and their dolls. Our favorite holiday is Easter, and holidays always offer an opportunity to make crafts, and getting the children involved in the activity. We enjoy camping, fishing, and trips to the zoo and circus.

My husband, James, has been driving for 33 years, hauling loads of everything you can name. He served in active duty at Plae-Ku during the Vietnam War as a door gunner with the Army. My oldest daughter and her family live in Shreveport, LA, in the Broadmoore area. Crystal graduated from Northwestern State University in 2002 with an honorary degree in nursing. She currently works at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. My son-in-law, Steve, works as a Structural Designer at Fenner Consulting, LLC in Shreveport. They have an 18-month old girl, Ariel.

My oldest son and family also reside in Shreveport. Paul and Monica have an eight-month old boy, Joseph. Paul works in the oil industry and is now planning a vacation to CA.

My youngest son, Bruce is a junior at Northwood High School in Blanchard, LA. He loves movies, wrestling, and video/computer games.
Clarissa just turned nine years old and is very active socially. She loves being outside and playing with her puppy, Lily Rose Two. She loves riding her bike and now, driving the tractor. Her favorite food is pizza.
Jame’ is five years of age and enjoys helping in the garden, working on the truck, and mowing the lawn, anything to get dirty. She loves her puppy, Prince Derek and swinging. Her favorite food is spaghetti.

My step-son and step-daughter, reside in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Phillip will soon be 23 years of age, is a volunteer fireman, and works at a country club. Diana will be 32 and has two children, and works with her boyfriend in his business of contract painting.
